Thriller tells the tale of a shy young man named Chauncey Page who winds up in jail after he accidentally kills a young woman during a cruel prank being played on him. Once released from jail, he returns home to seek his revenge.

Thriller made its World-Premiere at the 2018 LA Film Festival in the "Nightfall" category. When asked about his reaction to the song being licensed for the film, Hawkins conveyed, "This is very exciting news for co-writer Charlotte Hannon, Emphasis Records and myself. Receiving communication from Mr. Stewart regarding licensing Only You for the film was one of the oh-so familiar situations in the music business, when you least expect something to happen, it does. Came clear out of the blue. I am truly honored that Mr. Dallas Jackson, Mr. Paul Stewart and Ms. Rayshon Harris chose the song for the film, to be included in the production and its stellar cast and crew."
